Men suspended in limbo. Trampoline artists, captured in high speed, hover at the peak of their jumps, bodies folding, stretching, and finding balance in midair. The film’s composition shows all three of them in a fight-dance, physical interaction, making the point that repositioning, control, and correction are always possible, even in free fall.
Objective description
Men act in limbo. Trampoline artists filmed in high speed, suspended at the top of their jumps, repositioning themselves in midair. From these frozen moments, an interaction is composed, a choreography of anticipation, weight, and suspended time.
Plausible association
Thinking of humans as falling toward a climate collapse, we may feel like we are in midair, with no ground beneath our feet. Upside down, we can surrender—or we can prepare.
Artistic intention
The intention behind this film is to create a meditative feeling that allows thoughts and associations to grow slowly.
